The following tips on the construction of the base are important, and should be followed as closely as possible.
1. The concrete base or slab should be a few inches larger than the base rail of the ship, for example, a shed with a measure of base rail 93 "x70" ideally have a base measuring 96 " X73. "
2. The foundation should contain a moisture-proof membrane to be included in the base of at least 2 "higher than the surrounding soil surface run on base.
3. The fundamentals of the metal shed should be allowed to "cure" at least 3-7 days after casting the concrete, especially if the environment is humid. If this is not done, the water drying of the concrete provide sufficient moisture to establish a cycle of condensation.
4. After screwing the metal or covered with concrete slabs, apply caulk / silicone sealant inside the shed base rails (not outside). This will preserve the capacity of drainage channels at the same time prevent water seepage under the rails and inside the shed.

If the foundation has already been built, and a problem of condensation is evident, there are two methods of healing;
a. Separate shed its base and build a wooden floor raised on supports, the dimensions that a few inches larger than the basis of measurements of the ship. Fasten the ship to the floor surface with wood screws and caulk seal inside the shed base rails. This will allow air flow under the floor again and keep the area dry basis. This will eliminate the problem, however, you must ensure that water does not accumulate on the ground as a pool of water would be detrimental to the effectiveness of ventilation.
b. Clean the underside of the roof panels with methylated spirits, and make sure the panels are dry. Get over polystyrene boxes available, and stick to the bottom of the deck with spray adhesive specialists (No. 77 spray product) made by 3M Company. This adhesive is specifically for the polystyrene stuck to the metal, and is not adversely affected by heat or cold, although this work is best done on a hot day. Both tiles and ceiling panels must be covered, and after 1-2 minutes of surfaces can be joined together. This action does not remove moisture from the atmosphere, but prevent condensation due to its insulating properties.
